Yo! been trying out a new media!
...What the hell is collagraph? Well the gallery discription
seems to fit...
This is a traditional printing, scratched with a needle into the backside of a milk tetrapack, then print paint gets rubbed on it and it gets printed on a sheet of paper, and the paint that is in the scratches gets carried to the paper.
A really cool technique, loads of fun to make.

The paint gets rubbed into the scratches, and then it gets pressed onto wet paper with a mechanical press. The paint in the scratches gets carried onto the paper then. So you can create loads of examples with just one tetrapack scratching.
Should've explained that a lil better :XD:

Actually yea, we got a new art teacher, a real art teacher finally. The ones before basically only made us play with coloured paper shavings like pre-school kids.
Anyway, she allowed us to use the press and the paint after school, so my mate and I have been printing loads of erasures we made at home.
We also made woodcuts, but mine look too shitty to upload :XD:
